Since 2008 TUGG (Technology Underwriting Greater Good) has connected New England tech entrepreneurs and companies with start-up nonprofits serving local youth. TUGG put over a million dollars behind nonprofits like InnerCity Weightlifting, Resilient Coders, Catie’s Closet, First Teacher, Sitters for Scholars, More than Words, and Y2Y Homeless (among dozens of others).
In 2021, TUGG piloted a project called TINT (This Is Not TUGG) to provide individuals $25,000, paid out monthly over the course of 2 years, and a coach from Boston's founder community.
TINT is now the primary work of TUGG.
